10 minute AMRAP
30 snatch at 45#
30 snatch at 75#
30 snatch at 100#
as many as possible at 120#
Seeing as how my 1RM snatch as of yesterday was 88#, my goal was to get through 60 as fast as possible and hope for a miracle and get 1 at 100#.
I surprised the shit out of myself and did not one, but three at 100#! Big PR and 63 reps total!
I did the 30 at 45# in two sets of 15 and was done in 1 minute.
I split up the second set of 30 at 75# into sets of 5.
I had about 4 minutes left to try and PR at 100#. I did one at about 95 fairly easy, and convinced myself that I could do one at 100# just the same. I got my first one with a huge smile on my face. I got another couple but failed on several. If my technique was better, I'm convinced I could have gotten at least 10-15 reps at 100# which would have put me at 70-75 reps and back in a respectable place on the leader board.
Next year snatches will NOT be a weakness!
My score put me at 294th for 12.2 in the Region and 3318th Worldwide.
I'm ranked 313th overall in the Region and 4172 Worldwide after the first two WOD's.
